Body Balancing

Body Balancing is described as a "whole-body therapy". It integrates massage, myofascial release, stretching/flexing, and pressure point therapy to increase mobility, circulation, and overall range of motion.

A major benefit of Body Balancing is the natural alignment of the horse's entire body. This occurs when tension is released by creating a "positive effect on the contractual and release process of the muscle." This essentially uses the muscular system for a full balance and correction. "When muscle spasms release, the skeletal structure is allowed to return to its proper position without force."

Body Balancing is NOT chiropractic work (as I'm not a licensed vet or chiropractor, nor do I claim to be). It's a modality that differs from massage as it focuses deeper to the root cause of muscle soreness and tension.
